Free tier soft-caps at 100 calls per day — additional requests return 429 until the UTC rollover. Paid tiers have burst room and graceful degradation; we email you before you hit the wall. No surprise charges.

Developer tier is best-effort (no formal SLA) with transparent status at /status. Scale tier includes a 99.9% monthly SLA with service credits. All traffic is fronted by Cloudflare, so sub-200ms responses are typical from anywhere on the planet.

You get a perpetual license to use responses in your product. You can cache, display, and derive from the data. You can't redistribute raw bulk dumps — see terms for the full legal. If you need bulk licensing (e.g. for training a model or powering a competitor's lookup), contact Scale.

Not today. The canonical layer requires continuous signal ingestion across many sources — running it yourself means running everything. If you have a use case that needs on-prem data residency, Scale tier can deliver scheduled data drops under contract.
