MEDICINE INFORMATION ACTIVE INGREDIENTS (PER TABLET): Sodium Alginate 500 mg Sodium Bicarbonate 267 mg Calcium Carbonate 160 mg WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR: Gaviscon Extra Strength for fast, soothing and long-lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn (gastric reflux) and indigestion. WARNINGS: •If symptoms persist see your doctor. . Keep out of reach of children. • Not recommended for children under 12 years. • The maximum total daily intake (8 tablets) for adults contains 984 mg of sodium (take in account if on a low sodium diet) and 4.1 g mannitol. • Products containing mannitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. • Contains phenylalanine, aspartame, mannitol, sulphites and sodium. •Contains gluten from wheat (less than 20ppm). DIRECTIONS FOR USE. •Adults & children over 12 years: 1-2 tablets. • Take as required after meals and before going to bed, up to 4 times a day or as directed. • Chew tablets thoroughly before swallowing and follow with water if desired. OTHER INFORMATION: •Store below 30°C in a dry place. •Foil sealed for your protection. Do not use if blister foil is torn or damaged. This product does not contain artificial colouring.
